📌Ancient Acre 📌 You’d struggle to find a society in history who hasn’t coveted the ancient port of Acre Phoenicians, Canaanites, ancient Egyptians, Persians, Syrians, Greeks, Jews, Romans, Arabs, Crusaders, Pusan’s, Ottomans, the British and of course todays Israelis and Palestinians have all, at one time or another, ruled over this strategic port in the eastern Mediterranean. The well preserved town makes for a great place to wander for a few hours, enjoying the seas breezes and immense history.
