Last week, I was exhibiting at the Graduation Show at Central Saint Martins with my work resulting from 2 years of Master's degree! And what a two years ! I am so grateful for the supportive and uplifting community of my MA Art and Science, from the tutors to the students, who have really helped me gain the confidence to pursue this project to the outcome I dreamed of. This artwork is a tablecloth made out of organic hemp and eco-printed with local and seasonal flowers selected for their queer symbolism. The process combines craftswomanship, non-chemical dyeing method and sustainable materials. This tablecloth is an invitation to gather, to meet deeply and to connect between humans and non-humans. It is intended to host Ecofeminist Dinner Parties around the world. The first one will take place in a few days in Arles at @letedesserpents for the @rencontresarles . To activate the gathering power of the tablecloth during the Graduation Show, I placed local and seasonal fruits on the tablecloth everyday and invited visitors to taste a fruit in order to connect to the art and to the nature.
