@benjaminbrewer (one of the lead VFX artists on EEAAO, and a talented writer/director in his own right) sent me these first two pics from our college days. Shooting 16mm on Eclairs and bolexes. (Was a 1st AC for this shoot, and honestly pretty terrible at it 🫠) Got me reflecting on this year and how far we’ve all come. All of the shoots I’ve been on. All of the people I’ve been able to meet and work with. All of the fuck ups and experiments. The surprises and the happy accidents. We’re all just happy, dumb children, excited to be creating. The awards season has been so educational and it’s been fun to meet so many of our heroes, but I’m definitely yearning to be making again.
