Tiny Island Oasis🌴 Swipe for the editing breakdown! I started this edit by stitching 2 horizontal images to create a 1x1, then cropped to 4x5 ratio and increased/manipulated height using the aspect ratio tool. Next, I applied my basic adjustments preset and managed exposure, white balance and tint to punch that sunrise feel. I then started to bring in gradients and radial filters to darken the foreground and add contrast to the sky. I added exposure, warmth and haze to the right side of the frame to enhance the sun glow. Moving onto the island itself, I selected a range mask to adjust only the colours here, adding warmth and exposure to brighten. The sunlight was beaming from the right side of the frame, so I erased the added light on the left side of the island to create more depth. Adjusting the hue, saturation and luminance of the colour sliders, I made these minor changes until I was satisfied with the overall feel of the image. The blues of the ocean, the greens on the island and the oranges in the clouds is what I focused on here. I made a few final touches to the radial and gradient masks before using the brush tool to darken the shadow of the island in the foreground, again to give an added sense of depth to the image. This left me with an image and memory that I am very excited to share! Hope this inspires you to create✌️
