The U.S Department of Transportation has created a dashboard to ensure the traveling public have easy access to information about services provided, and not provided, by our major #airline carriers, in an effort to help mitigate passenger inconveniences when the cause of #delay or #cancellation was due to circumstances within the airline's control.
The DOT has actually made it quite simple for #travelers to decipher the dashboard’s tools. The Green check mark ✅ indicates the airline indeed offers that service or amenity to its passengers. The Red check mark ❌ indicates the airline does not offer that service/amenity or that it is offered at the discretion of the airline. Travelers can filter search results by their specific airline, using the dashboard's tools.
Moral of the Story: You have rights! While revenge #travel is still in full swing, we continue to see an increase in delayed and cancelled flights. Using the #CustomerServiceDashboard, you'll be more informed when choosing an airline, by knowing what options are already in place, should factors outside of your control occur. The dashboard is available for all 10 major US airline carriers.
