My favorite accidental design choice came when our powder bathroom caught on fire.. (lit candle + hand towel=🔥) So scary! We ended up replacing the bathroom counter with the butcher block that was on our kitchen island.. and then we replaced the kitchen island with a much larger piece of quartz which allowed for bar stools that my kids use every day. A win win. So this is your reminder, when you renovating or if something wild happens, try to repurpose what you can! 😉 #beforeandafter
