I’m going to shine some light on tracks that weren’t singles over the next few weeks. I do love writing albums but sometimes I feel like half the record gets slept on in an age of busy lives and shortened attention spans. The instrumental for ‘On My Mind’ was inspired by Caribou, Jamie XX & Zero 7. All artists I love listening to when the suns out. ☀️ Amber wrote the vocal for ‘Keep Dancing’ remotely over a completely different song so the ‘On My Mind’ session was the first time we’d met. We did the session at mine with another writer called Joe Killington. I think this was the second vocal we came up with. Short and sweet!
