🌱I’ve been averaging about 150g of protein (.83g/lb) for almost the past 4 years. There is more and more research being published that confirms what many in the nutritional community have been saying for years about protein.. that there is a point of diminishing returns and MORE protein does not mean more muscle/strength. By being protein efficient (not deficient), it allows me to focus on consuming more healthy carb and fat sources that provide a plethora of micronutrients & fiber that help support immunity,recovery, & longevity.
