An early whisper about a @dublab concert I'm producing in celebration of @alicecoltraneofficial’s 85th birthday. This free, public happening on August 27th at @grandperfs will pay tribute to the singular musician and spiritual leader with performances by: * Renowned composer @miguelatwoodferguson will conduct and arrange a string and harp ensemble performing Alice Coltrane’s cosmic classics. * @musicbotofasinasurya will lead an ensemble playing bhajans and progressive sounds inspired by Turiyasangitananda’s devotional music. They will be accompanied by singers from the Sai Anantam Ashram @vedantic_center with featured vocalist @michellecoltrane. * Special guests and dublab DJs Made possible through support from @ceylonskincare, @luakabop & @coltranehome.
