This project is special to me not only because it was my first solo exhibition but I was finally able to share my perspective and vision with no limitations. I wanted to create something new, something different. I wanted to do it my way. I wanted to give the world a new perspective on the human body. I wanted to create something timeless, something you can see in a museum someday. I wanted to create a project that was inclusive. A project that included subjects of all shapes and sizes and complexions. I wanted people to look through the book and say “what is this?” & “what am I looking at?”. I wanted women to feel appreciated. I wanted inspire artists to do their own gallery show, their own book. I wanted to show them they can do it too. I wanted to create one of the greatest works of all time. I’m not sure if I achieved everything on this list but I did my best. I also want to officially say thank you to everyone who came to the show and bought a book or a a print. Big thank you to all the sponsors who made this possible.
