ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: pop singer-songwriter @jordyntareaz, whose brand new single "Can't Talk" is out NOW! The single reflects on "the space between finding closure and still longing for someone, even though you know you shouldn’t." Jordyn first teased the song while opening for @warnermusic artist Maude Latour at @songbyrddc in February 2022. An immediate crowd pleaser, fans were even DMing Jordyn asking for the demo so that they could have something to listen to until the song’s official release. This Maryland native is currently based in LA, and earned a mention in @billboard for her talents and involvement in the World Woman Hour soundtrack. Jordyn also has received coverage from singer-songwriter Linda Perry's organization @equalizeher and @quadiomedia. "Can't Talk" was co-written with frequent collaborator Lexi “Riese” Riesenberg (@sheisjules). Reflecting on the concept behind the song, Jordyn says, “I’m a very independent person, and I’m not afraid to walk away when things aren’t right. But that doesn’t mean every goodbye comes easily. With each element of the song we worked to sonically reflect the ups, downs, and tumultuous journey of finding closure.” In addition to being a working artist, Tareaz is also a full-time college student, attending @syracuseu and studying Entertainment and Recording Industries at @bandierprogram, graduating Spring 2023
