Today we will turn of the electricity @amassrestaurant . It will be our 4th “intentional” Black Out dinner. I don’t think that this dinner has been more relevant that in todays current landscape. As energy prices sore, we are reminded that energy in whatever form you choose to acknowledge comes from processes that originate from nature, whether it be cosmic or terrestrial. As soon as we start to acknowledge this, we can begin our journey forward as a species. Energy is a luxury. When we flick on a light switch or pump gas, there is a cause and effect. Acknowledging this cause and effect is the first step towards a better future for our kids. While shutting off the electricity @amassrestaurant for one night doesn’t exactly do much physically in regards to impact, we hope that the action it self will spark conversation and awareness, which in turn will push towards our acknowledgment of the issues at hand.
