I DANCE FOR YOU, I DANCE FOR YOU, I DANCE ALL NIGHT LONG!! this weekend, i had the opportunity to participate in uk’s annual DanceBlue. it is a 24-hour no sleeping, no sitting dance marathon that raises money for the DanceBlue hematology/oncology children’s clinic in lexington. while the marathon was not easy, cancer is so much harder and worse. i can’t even begin to comprehend what these kiddos go through on a daily basis, and yet they are the most joyful people in the room. seeing the kids’ faces throughout the whole marathon were what helped me get through. i got to be selfless and dance for those that deserve to be danced for. i am so incredibly proud to say that we raised $2.1 million FOR THE KIDS!! JOY PREVAILS!! 💛💙
