In every class I get questions about pH, but why is it important? pH represents ‘potential hydrogen’ or ‘power of hydrogen’ and this specifically affects hair and how it responds. Although pH is important, it’s only one piece of the puzzle. It’s the total whole of the pH and the ingredients in the formula that determines what the product does to have. So remember, acidic isn’t always good and alkaline isn’t always bad.
