As a Black female entrepreneur who owns both a social media consultancy and a non-profit (@blckincorporate) naturally I end up working long hours—so I wanted to make sure I created a work-from-home environment that felt inviting at every turn. When looking to accomplish this I knew that this was only a task that my friends at @CrateAndBarrel could assist with. I worked with the brand to curate items that had a duality that were not only conducive for work but conducive for a peaceful ambiance. I’m absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the entire project. I’m excited to wake up and work—which I feel is the ultimate goal when it comes to having any career.
