Tonight, we’re celebrating the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival! 🥮 The festival goes back over 3,000 years, and was derived from the custom of worshipping the moon in autumn to thank it for the harvest. Traditionally, the day falls on the 15th day of the eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, which is in September or early October on the Gregorian calendar – in 2022 the festival falls on September 10th! We hope you enjoy this special time of year with your family and friends. May the bright moon bring blessings and happiness to you and your loved ones. #UniMelb #MidAutumnFestival #MoonFestival
