When doing gel removals, for the love of what ever higher power you observe or not 🤷🏽‍♀️use cuticle oil to saturate around the eponychium to avoid drying out your skin. This is especially useful in cases where you or your client have sensitive skin conditions and helps minimize and/or prevent irritation. Just be sure to fully and properly prep the nail bed before product application for maximum adhesion! *As a licensed, traditionally trained and pro nail tech, I’ve been doing this for nearly a decade. It’s effective and WILL NOT cause lifting with proper prep. 2. The sticky tab trick helps me maximize my presson wear throughout the day with no issue. In order to upkeep my nail growth/strength I like biweekly manicures with a simple structure gel overlay. Leveled and thin enough for a seamless presson look, but layered enough that I get my strength and adhesion. “Plastic” or rubber like surfaces tend to stick to each other well when presented with favorable elements. Smooth fully cured gel manicure, smooth presson underside and adhesive sticky sandwiched to create the perfect suction action.
