Isometric Holds. Do you ever throw those in??? Omgoodness you should!!! I’m using them here on the leg curl machine. I did about 12 reps, then on the 12th rep I HOLD at the top. Now because I had my bestie here training with me, I had her even add extra pressure by lightly pushing against me. I’m just trying to fight against her and HOLD as long as I possibly can until I finally drop the weight. You will recruit so many freaking muscle fibers doing this, and it’s a great way to completely exhaust the muscle on your last set. Other great exercises I do these ISO HOLDS (with added pressure) are: leg extension, lateral raises, front raise, bicep preacher curl, tricep extension machine. Give this a go!!
