Today is the release of a special project I’ve been working on - the owl, Harald, together with Royal Copenhagen and The University of Copenhagen. The award “Harald of the Year” is presented by H.M. Queen Margrethe of Denmark at the award ceremony today. “Harald of the Year” is The University of Copenhagen’s annual teaching award given to honor excellent and inspiring teaching. The winner is presented with a 27cm ceramic statuette in the shape of an owl first molded in 1912 by sculptor, Peter Herold. The award is named after Harald Bohr - a famous danish mathematician and the brother of the Nobel prize-winning physicist Niels Bohr. Harald Bohr was also won second prize at the 1908 Olympic football games in London. The award goes to Professor MSO Jørgen Olsen . Congrats @royalcopenhagen @university_of_copenhagen
