This process works by layering sessions on top of each other to cover the natural lip. It's like painting a wall. Once one coat dries you can layer on another until the old color is no longer shown. 2-4 sessions is always recommended with lip neutralization. If you wait too long in between sessions the color will not layer as it should to give you the desired coverage.
