30 transitional outfits from September’s Capsule wardrobe (full post on the blog: itsybitsyindulgences.com) March, April, and September are typically transitional months and temps vary so much depending on where you live. In CA we will likely be in the 80’s for the month of September (if not October 😂), but I know that in other parts fall starts pretty quickly. All that to say, my capsule is designed to be flexible... by that I mean, I have cut-offs and jeans. If temps where you live are cooler, swap out the black cut-offs for black jeans, and vice versa. If it’s too warm for the striped henley, wear the striped tank. If I suggest an outfit that would require a top layer for you, any of the ones I have here (or something you own that’s similar) will work. If I suggest sandals, but that’s too cold, swap them out for sneakers. I hope it can work for the majority of people. Everything, with the exception of two items, have been in past capsules, or seasonal collections... and brought back for this month. That’s the beautiful thing about wardrobe classics, you can make them work across seasons with some simple wardrobe shifts.
