Today is David’s memorial. I loved him well, as did everyone who ever met him. For many of us in our friend group, he’s the first to pass... and things are different all of a sudden for us. A loss of innocence somehow. I wake up every morning having totally forgotten the news, and something in the day will suddenly remind me .. and ... David has a voracious love for life. To be in his presence was like seeing the northern lights ... he saw beauty and miracle in everything. In the last few years, he had met the love of his life at Washington square park and life seemed perfect. To Megan and David’s family, my deepest deepest condolences.
