In @tmagazine's latest T25 list, we tackle a topic about which a lot of you are sure to have a lot of strong feelings: What, we wondered, are the 25 most significant NYC novels of the past 100 years? (And what IS a NYC novel, anyway?) We convened a redoubtable jury of four writers (one playwright, one biographer/essayist/cultural critic, and two novelists) and one bookseller—specifically, @_Katiekitamura, Michael Cunningham, Miriam Chotiner-Gardner, Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, and Mark Harris—and let them slug it out. Their answers were surprising, delightful, provocative, and made me want to read ROSEMARY'S BABY. Check out the full list now at tmagazine.com, and check back next week for a number of other writers' most-significant lists (including my own). The art is "St. Patrick's, Easter Sunday" (1976), by #PeterHujar. #T25Novels #Tmagazine
