Take a horse-drawn carriage ride at Chautauqua’s Winter Village celebration! Bundle up and experience a bit of old-timey holiday charm as you trot through CHQ’s picturesque streets and winter scenery. Rides will be available December 16–18 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., with the last ride departing at 3:30 p.m. Each carriage holds 8 people and will leave every half hour starting at Noon from the parking lot next to the Chautauqua Bookstore. Tickets are available for purchase at the Bookstore ($6 for adults; $4 for children). Each ride is approximately 25 minutes. After your carriage ride, warm up with the new holiday menu from Afterwords Café featuring a variety of indulgent items like peppermint hot chocolate, fresh pastries, gourmet sandwiches and winter salads sure to put you in the festive spirit.
