After a busy few weeks on our UK AP Tour, I’ve engaged in so many amazing conversations with young & upcoming swimmers about the ‘Illegal to be Me’ documentary that aired last month on BBC ONE. I wasn’t going to share this Video/Vlog, but the conversations I’ve had has inspired me & I’m incredibly humbled by everyone’s kindness. For everyone that knows me, I’m always happy and smiling, but in the documentary I went to some dark places in my conversation with Tom, so hopefully this personal vlog can shine the positive side of me returning to Jamaica, as well as the hardship & anxieties I went through (that might be hard to watch).
