Thank you so much everyone @variety and @jazzt21 . Coming off the heels of AAPI Heritage Month, so much happened on the first day of Pride — that I don’t think I properly thanked you for this honor. Thank you for celebrating us queer storytellers and also acknowledging how we come in many shapes. Love to see many sibs here including @isabelvsandoval and @arianadebose and many other awesome folks. To all, (and this is an “and/or”) QUEER, BROWN, AAPI, IMMIGRANT folks out there - know that you are NOT ALONE. Pride has always been complex for me as it reminds me of all the shame I had to work through to get to a place of #PRIDE. Also, to the voices that tell us we can only be ONE THING.
