Oh how I miss the days of being diagnosis-free and inspired and productive as hell! In advance of the I HAD A MISCARRIAGE book launch, I attempted to galvanize as much press and media support as possible. The goal: To put miscarriage on the mainstream map. To upend the tired narrative laden in self-blame, shame, and guilt. And to remind women and families in the aftermath of pregnancy loss that grief is a little less hard to navigate when we feel wholeheartedly supported. Seen. Sometimes I look back at that time—not very long ago in the scheme of things—and marvel at how dedicated I was to the topic of miscarriage.
