Just came across this clip from 2017💓 —I will never stop being grateful to @owntv and @oprah for giving us a platform to discuss issues around #Autism. #forpeetessake was such a blessing for our family, but also for many others and it spread #AutismAcceptance because RJ allowed himself to be vulnerable, and share his story with the world. Whewww... these scenes made me dig deep into my mommy bag!! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😩RJ is so pure and sweet and he’s incapable of lying and deception...So when he opens up to me, I have to be ready! Social media can be difficult to navigate for people, but especially those who struggle to process mean spiritedness and bullying. I really feel the show helped destigmatize this disorder and make people feel seen. That’s a huge blessing!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾 if you know, a family that is impacted by autism just please always be kind, accepting, patient, loving and supportive! #tb
