Conquered the Bridge! • Showed up today determined to achieve my goal of finishing first! Had a remarkable battle with the four time defending champ. It was 85 degrees at the start of the race but despite the heat and the intensity of the bridge, I knew if I stayed in striking distance I could overcome and conquer. It came down to the last mile and a half as I caught up to leader and overtook the lead! Made the decision with 800 meters to make my move and it paid off!
