Rumour has it this will be the most EXTREME course yet! 😎 In line with the mine's purpose of developing mining for a better future, they are taking decisive steps to manage and mitigate the effects of climate change on the business and areas of influence. Having reduced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 580,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent by the end of 2020, Antofagasta’s new target is for all four of the group’s mining operations to use 100% renewable energy by the end of 2022.
