Yeh mon...I’ll never forget the beauty of this past week. @gabriellak_j took me on my first trip to the Caribbean and I’m feeling so much gratitude for the magic that brought us there. Living life is hard, almost all aspects of modern society feel like jail to me these days. I rly only care about a few things. My loved ones, my karma, and the struggle to be a free human in this world. As many day to day hurdles are put in our way, we all deserve to bask in the ancestral spirit, eat well, drink well, swim in warm waters, spend quality time with the ppl we love most in a paradise. That’s all I mean when I talk about god and heaven. I’m sure a lot of ppl can relate, but it’s been hard for me to focus these past several years, I’ve struggled to put one foot in front of the other, it’s been a confusing time, but I’m lucky bc every step of the way I have this amazing reminder of what is possible right by my side in the form of a twin sister. Gaby, even under some of the hardest circumstances, in one of the toughest and most unforgiving industries in the world, you’ve excelled at using your god-given talents to take yourself and so many others to the places you want and deserve to go, to the mental and physical places where freedom lives. You do this through your radiant presence, through the images you create, through the doors you open, and even through bringing ye olde ball and chain (me lol) to Jamaica. And I know it’s not an easy feat in this world, but It’s something we’ve vowed to do since we were little. I was taking notes then and I’m taking notes now. So even though you’d probably fight me on it, one of these next trips is gna be on me. Negril, Jamaica with my amazing, beautiful, stylish, hilarious twin. It was just SO nice.
