Y’all it’s been so long since I’ve been on Instagram (almost 3 years), I legit forgot you could put filters on 😩. ANYWAY, I’m so excited to announce that my debut narrative short, Childhoods, will premiere at this year’s @outfest film festival! A 9 minute labor of love, I shot this film in Amsterdam, a city I've grown to love deeply over the years. It was just me, my cinematographer @npunwar , and my dear friend @normanvladimir making it and it was a joyous time. Upon my return to LA, my set designer @sesameobins helped me craft a magical world that gave life to my character's imagination. In both Amsterdam and LA I found settings that spoke to me creatively and with my editor @christineandthescreens help I was able to craft a surreal narrative that was simultaneously personal and universal.
