I’m happy to announce the release of General Audio, an album I did in collaboration with Albert van Abbe. During the lockdown Albert and I visited Willem Twee studios and had some fun with it’s massive collection of 50’s measuring equipment. We spent 2 days navigating the equipment pretty much sailing blind but we managed to squeeze out some pretty unique sounds and textures. The stuff that ended up on the album was all recorded live. We ended up re-amping the recordings to capture the special acoustics of the room. Really enjoyed working on this with Albert.
