Approaching Camp 4 at the South Col. • After climbing the Lhotse Face and traversing over and up across the Yellow Band, another traverse leads to the Geneva Spur, a rocky rib, guarding access to the South Col. The Col is spacious and windswept and provides great views of the route on the upper mountain.
