Today, on the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we remember the lives lost, as well as the sacrifices and courage of the first responders who came to the aid of thousands of Americans in New York City, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania. We also take this moment to honor the service members who have worn the uniform with pride since that day.
