!!️It’s ERAS opening day !!️ If you’re anything like I was during this time, you’re probably feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed the heck out. Between away rotations, STEP 2, and finishing up med school requirements, you’re being pulled in a million directions, so the important thing to do right now is PRIORITIZE. 1️⃣ If you haven’t requested your letter of recommendations, send those emails NOW and plan to follow up periodically before submitting in September 2️⃣ Writing personal statements can be pretty painful 🥴 but starting *early* makes it hurt a little less. Even if you spend the next month brainstorming and getting your structure down, it’ll go a long way! 3️⃣ Make an email account SPECIFICALLY for applications! You don’t want things getting mixed up in your school or personal account. Also, you’ll be able to make special texts and email alerts that notify you once those interview invites start rolling in 💃🏾 4️⃣ And just remember, you might feel a lot of pressure to get everything done ASAP, but you still have time.
