#TBT In November of 2003, dolphins had been driven into Taiji cove for slaughter when two of our crew members attempted to open the nets to let a pod of #dolphins escape. 🐬 Sadly, the ever-watchful eye of the dolphin killers quickly spotted the attempt and put an end to it, but not before endangering the lives of our operatives several times with their dangerous boat driving. 🚫 After a month in Japanese jail, both crew members were eventually released. Today, due to being aggressively targeted by Japanese authorities, Sea Shepherd crew can no longer be on the ground in Taiji.
