Eric is a 26-year-old Black gay man living in the U.S. After meeting @inthemeantimemen’s HIV Testing Navigator Javontae, a partner of @ejaf, Eric shared the challenges he was facing due to losing his job during COVID. Javontae was able to provide Eric with information about #UequalsU, offered a referral for #PrEP so that he could maintain his HIV negative status, and explored options with the Case Manager around housing and job stability. Thanks to @inthemeantimemen’s support and guidance, Eric is now on PrEP, has been reducing his number of sexual partners, and counselling has helped grow his confidence back. He is now working, considering going back to school, and volunteers with In The Meantime Men’s group to encourage his friends to utilize the My Tribe program.
