The @LosAngelesFireDepartment Risk Management Section was joined by @CityofLosAngeles @CouncilmemberJohnLee this week in formally recognizing Dr. Jamileh Hanna, MD, and her team at @ConcentraHealth, for their longstanding commitment to the overall health of the #LAFD workforce. A selfless advocate for comprehensive responder wellness, Dr. Hanna has steadfastly guided the men and women of LAFD in maintaining complete fitness for duty, and compassionately treating them when any manner of injury or illness has arisen. Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic in particular, she and her team remained a readily accessible and trusted source of information and care that helped countless LAFD families maintain health, humor and wholeness. Caring for - and supporting LAFD members on an everyday basis, sometimes at 2 AM in their own homes as family looks on, is something that Dr. Hanna embraces, and is but one reason why the men and women of LAFD, and the Councilmember feel it essential to extend this appreciation.
