03.03.22 This was the day Andy and I made the idea for ‘Until The End Of Time’. The original name of the demo was ‘Lovers’ and we were in the studio that day with no real intention of accomplishing anything. Just messing around. I made a beat real quick and he was like yo lemme jump on the mic. The reason I pulled my phone out and started filming is because I could feel the channel open and he was pouring out. I vividly remember getting goosebumps while he was recording this. He didn’t have anything written down. He was just flowing. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve just completely broken down in our studio over the past two years while listening to him sing. It’s like all of his words have helped me get through losing him. Almost as if apart of him knew his time was up. It’s still mind blowing to me how beautiful these songs are and how much they have helped me heal. I truly hope that this album can help other people that have lost someone close to them. This album is for you too. Working on this album has given me such a deeper understanding of why we all love music and how it can bring us closer to dropping all the bullshit and realizing we all want the same thing. Andy had a gift. And I’m so proud of him for giving us all he had while he was here with us.
