If you're an independent, you're paying for it
If you're a commission stylist, both you and your salon are paying for it.
Root taps & melts extra foils, tips outs, extra toner, a trim or a cut.
Every time you do any of these things, you are paying for part of your clients service without knowing it.
This money comes directly out of your profit that could pay for:
Time off
Retirement
Vacation
Sick pay
Your bills
If your pricing is based on facts and is supported by the value of your services, you do not need to discount.
If you're clients don't want to pay the prices, do less work, use less product and don't lose money.
If you want to include these things in a package, make sure you know what you charge for them separately before including them and make sure you know how to communicate the value of your packaged service.
In certain areas, you can package a lot, in other areas, clients may not be ready for this type of approach.
My recommendation is, don't include anything that doesn't need to be included and make sure to have a clear add on menu for anything that isn't ☑
You can learn more about this in my Modern Menu & Hybrid Pricing course for Independents.
