I just started reading “I’m Glad My Mom Died” by @jennettemclerdy - I’m not even 6 chapters in & I am telling you, it should be required reading for all Model Mothers. (& actor moms- especially the actor moms!) One of the first things that struck me (& I am sure there will be more) is this idea of parents wanting “what’s best” for their kids. Ok totally fair! But can someone, anyone answer my legitimate question- “why is FAME what’s best for your kid?” Is it the wealth? Because that makes people’s lives easier? That’s what I would assume. But most of you know the wealth comes for very few. When parents get very into child modeling/ acting what do you think is the motivation? Comment your thoughts below!
