Jocelyn Miller. Our dear friend Jocelyn is an artist based in New York. Her ceramic forms, made under the studio name @soft____skills, prioritize ritual and care as natural languages of beauty, taking shape around her notion of a ‘feminine brutal,’ a distinct formal language that is both architectural and anthropomorphic. By taking the body and it’s immediate environment as principle subject, her forms mean to articulate formidable strength through radical softness.
