Yesterday’s sonic activations organized by @davemuller33333 and I in his exhibition Sunset, Sunrise (repeat) b/w The Record Pavilion at @blumandpoe was a blast! Thanks to all the @dublab DJs for playing tunes from the Record Pavilion bins, Joseph Hammer @dynastysuites for looping and melting musical references from the paintings, Dave for his 🎺 magic in tribute to Mike Kelley, @heavyhymns and @derek_mcneill for helping bring the field recording constellation to life, The Musical Tracing Ensemble conducted by @aaronmolson for their otherworldly renditions of repertoire sourced from Dave’s artworks, and to all the folks who came to look, listen and buy wax from the shack.
