Rejoice! Our famous Mince Pies arrive tomorrow. Chef Arthur approves: this year we have made subtle improvements to our pastry. It still retains sufficient rigour, crucial to encase the rich and bountiful filling, but it is now more buttery and more toothsome. St. JOHN Smithfield will be closed for a private event on December 1st, but all other sites - Bread and Wine, Marylebone and the bakeries - will be stocked and primed. As ever, we advise speed. Supplies may be ready, but so are the mince-pie-adoring ravening hordes.
