Winter is coming! ❄️ ✨ From Bear Lake, hike to Lake Haiyaha and see incredible views of the Glacier Basin area. Look for views of Bear Lake, Nymph Lake and Bierstadt Lake. There are two junctions to look for - at 1.1 miles turn left at the Dream Lake/Lake Haiyaha marker, at 1.7 miles continue straight at the Mills Lake/The Loch/Lake Haiyaha marker. 🤩 At around 50 yards from the lake the terrain gives way to rugged boulders covering the entire shore. Carefully navigate this area by following the twisted pines, said to be some of the oldest trees in the park.
