What’s a men’s haircut? When I first grew my hair out I half did it because it was about the last thing left that I hadn’t done with my hair. Now I don’t think I’ll ever go back. And even better than enjoying it myself, it’s taught me so much about what my long haired clients go through, that I’m able to give them better advice on how to take care of their own. Like I tell my students, if you’re a hairdresser and you’ve always had long hair, cut it off.
