Under the covered canopies of the Gaggiandre and reflecting onto the surface of the water is Wu Tsang’s Of Whales (2022), a film installation that departs from the artist’ adaptation of Moby Dick and is realized using XR technologies to imagine an underwater journey as told from the perspective of the whale. Next to it, Virginia Overton presents an installation with glass buoys floating on the water, realized with pink glass that is iconic in Venice streetlamps. The same glass punctuates a large concrete sculpture in the shape of a tulip, cast from preexisting mold used for tunnels.
