@allbirds’s greenest store is officially open 🌱⁣ ⁣ When @allbirds asked me to help design the windows for their new Flatiron location on 5th ave (120 5TH AVE) I was honestly shocked. A window display in any NYC store is a huge project, and this was far different than most of my client work designing residential interiors, backyard / terraces and edible gardens. In fact, it reminded me of the enormous projects I did on the Big Flower Fight back in 2019, and I was eager to flex some creative muscles and think outside the (planter) box 😉⁣ ⁣ The theme embodied Allbirds’s sustainable materials, and I focused heavily on the plants and environments where those materials would be soured from. Each environment has its own plant palette, colors and texture, and it was hard to choose a favorite when it was all said and done. The last few windows they allowed me to express my own plant journey, and I added a combination of houseplants, landscaping essentials and edible crops 🥬⁣ ⁣ This was truly a dream project and I couldn’t have done it without @emilyonthewings and the support from the Allbirds team.
