Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming in my Valencia studio Moroccan artist @ghizlaneagzenai. She was selected as our first Artist in Residence, as part of the #ConfigurableArt Residence program. We got to spend a week together, discussed art, and managed to come up with a prototype of a limited edition sculpture that we’ll produce and make available via @configurableart. In 2016 I was lucky enough to be invited by my all times favorite artist #CarlosCruzDiez to work at his studio in Panama City. That experience changed me and my career forever as it made me realize about the importance of working as a team, the use of modern machines, and so on. Now I guess I’m trying to do something similar with younger artists, in hope that my team and I can also help as we get inspired by great talent such as Ghizlane.
